Review: When Joss Met Matt
When Joss Met Matt by Ellie Cahill
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was a cute premise for a story - friends with benefits through the college years that could turn into so much more. But anyone could have figured out early on that there was a connection between these two at the very beginning and they were dooming any other relationships despite what they were saying. Even the secondary and tertiary characters in this book said so. It was predictable for sure and not necessarily in a bad way. If you are looking for a cute, romantic new adult book, then this one will definitely fill that need.
Likes: their true love for each other despite the many flaws that they each possessed., the way they were always there for each other no matter what, and the way this story vascilated back and forth between flashbacks.
Dislikes: their naivety that no meaningful relationship would come from this agreement, how nasty their friends were about them being together, and the length of time it took for them to come to the conclusion they did.
Overall, I gave this a 3 star rating. It was good and a cute, quick read. Fairly predictable though.
